The Alevi Federation Germanye is the only umbrella organization for Alevis in Germany, representing the interests of 160 member organizations across the country. As a result, the AABF has single and exclusive representation of the Alevis in Germany, who are largely from Anatolia. It is one of the largest organizations created by persons with a migrant background in the Federal Republic of Germany, and one of the largest religious groups in Germany, with over 700,000 members.
