AGC on Tire Full Forms
- Advanced Gravity Casing Kenda's latest innovation for gravity-oriented riders is the Advanced Gravity Casing (AGC). To protect the tire from cuts and punctures, a strip of Kenda Vector Shield (KVS), a lightweight woven aramid material, is built in under the tread and along the sidewalls. KVS has a cut resistance that is roughly three times that of ordinary protective materials. Pinch flats and burping are prevented by a 20 mm apex along the bead. It's the lightest and most durable gravity casing we've ever made. AGC includes a two-layer compound: A stronger rubber serves as a stable foundation, while a softer rubber on top provides lots of traction.
