CFETR stands for various terms. Discover the full forms, meanings, and possible interpretations of CFETR across different fields and industries.
The China Fusion Engineering Test Reactor (CFETR) is a proposed tokamak fusion reactor, which uses a magnetic field to keep plasma in place and make energy. At the moment, tokamak devices are the most likely way to build a thermonuclear fusion reactor that will work. These reactors could be used to make clean energy while having less of an effect on the environment and putting out less carbon than fossil fuel-based power plants.
