Drift refers to a vehicle deviating from a straight-line path when no steering input is given. Also called pull. The lateral movement or deflection of a structure. A flat piece of steel of tapering width used to remove taper shank drills and corner tools from their holders. A tapered rod used to force mismated holes into line for riveting or bolting. Sometimes called a drift pin.
