The Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak, or HT-7U, is an experimental magnetic fusion energy reactor in Hefei, China. It is a superconducting tokamak. The experiment is being done for the Chinese Academy of Sciences by the Hefei Institutes of Physical Science. It has been in business since 2006.
