The Meat and Milk Institution (short name: E.S.K.) is an official institution headquartered in Ankara, affiliated with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Turkey. The institution, which was established on October 1, 1952 with the name of Meat and Fish Institution in order to develop livestock and fisheries in Turkey, realized its first activity with the Erzurum Meat Combine, which started to work in 1953.
