Easement

The horizontal exterior roof overhang. A formal contract which allows a party to use another party’s property for a specific purpose. e.g. A sewer easement might allow one party to run a sewer line through a neighbors property. Allows another person the right to use private land for a specific purpose. The most usual easements are those granted to public utility companies to run lines on or under private property.
