European Union

A group of European countries that have chosen to integrate many of their economic activities, including forming a customs union and harmonizing many of their rules and regulations. Preceded by EEC and EC. As of August, 2012, the EU had 27 member countries.

End User

An end user is the person that a software program or hardware device is designed for. The term is based on the idea that the "end goal" of a software or hardware product is to be useful to the consumer. The end user can be contrasted with the developers or programmers of the product. End users are also in a separate group from the installers or administrators of the product.

Europium

Symbol:"Eu" Atomic Number:"63" Atomic Mass: 151.96amu. Europium is one of the elements in the lanthanide series of inner transition elements. It may also be classified as a rare earth element.
