FAMACHA (FAffa MAlan CHArt) is a selective treatment technique for parasitic barber's pole worm management in domesticated small ruminant populations. Unlike previous, more invasive techniques, FAMACHA targets just a subset of a flock's sheep or goats for therapy. The animals are chosen for therapy depending on the degree of anemia in their mucous membranes, which is measured using a color-coded chart.
