Latitude

Circles in parallel planes to that of the equator defining north-south measurements, also called parallels.  or A geographic coordinate expressing a point's location as degrees, minutes and seconds north or south of the equator (0°). Used with longitude to define a specific location on the earth's surface. Coordinates for a heliport normally define the center of the TLOF or, in the case of multiple TLOF's the centroid.
