Parapet

A wall that subdivides spaces within any story of a building or room. The portion of a vertical wall of a building which extends above the roof line at the intersection of the wall and roof. A wall placed at the edge of a roof to prevent people from falling off. Or A low wall, located at the top of any sudden drop, such as at the top of the facade of a building. A low wall built along the edge of a roof bridge or other structure; the continuation of the main wall above the eaves level to form such a wall.
