The Old School Emulation Center (TOSEC) is a retrocomputer research project that emerged in February 2000 as an initiative to catalog and rename pieces of software used in emulators. Subsequently, its scope would be extended to the preservation in addition to applications, firmwares, device drivers, games, operating systems, digitization of magazines and their respective promotional discs, comic strips, art of product boxes, advertising pieces, related television programs, among others. Their catalogs are accompanied by a summary, as well as a cryptographic identification that serves to verify the integrity of the files in the collection.
