Trakya Kalkınma Ajansı (TRAKYAKA) was established on 14 July 2009 in Tekirdağ, Edirne and Kırklareli provinces in order to support the cooperation between the public, private sector and civil society, to ensure the efficient and effective use of resources, and to contribute to the socio-economic development of the region by activating the local potential. It was established by the decision of the Council of Ministers. Agency activities started actively as of May 2010 with the first personnel recruitment following the appointment of the general secretary in December 2009.
