Vapor Pressure

Measure of the volatility of a liquid at specified temperatures and pressure. The measure of pressure at which a specific fluid will change to a gas. A property that is unique to each liquid. When the surrounding pressure of a system is below the vapor pressure, the liquid is able to evaporate. The pressure at which pure liquid A can coexist with its vapor at a given temperature.
