Dew Point

The dew point of the atmosphere inside the furnace. The higher the negative number, the dryer the furnace. A dry furnace is desired. The temperature to which air must be cooled for saturation to occur, exclusive of air pressure or moisture content change. At that temperature dew begins to form, and water vapor condenses into liquid. Temperature at which vapor (at 100 percent humidity) begins to condense and deposit as liquid.
