Paper Carrier

A special cargo vessel designed to transport paper cargo. Paper carriers are often equipped with side loading system. To prevent damage of the sensitive paper cargo, all welds on the deck and double skin are usually ground smooth. All lashing fittings and lights are also flash, both to prevent scuffing as well as the damage due to the contact with the masts or clamps of the trucks.
